Winter Squash Soup
Grandma Bassett
Ingredients:
4 c cubes squash, peeled
1 c frozen (or fresh) corn
2 c frozen (or fresh) green beans
1 med chopped onion (½ c sliced)
1 (14.5oz) can tomatoes (plain, stewed tomatoes)
½ c chicken broth
½ chopped green pepper
1 minced garlic clove
½ tsp chili powder
¼ tsp pepper
Directions:
Put all ingredients in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 40-45 minutes or until veggies are tender.
