Winter Squash Soup #2
Ashley used Desirae's recipe but put a little spin on it...so they are very similar....but both had a uniquely different taste.
1 package (20 oz) frozen winter squash
1/2 package frozen corn
1 can of beans (black, white, which ever you prefer)
1 med chopped onion (1/2 cup sliced)
1 (14.5oz) can tomatoes (plain, stewed tomatoes)
1 cup chicken broth
1/2 chopped green pepper
1/2 tsp taco seasoning
1/4 tsp pepper
Directions:
Put all ingredients in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 40-45 minutes or until veggies are tender.
