Beet Burgers on Romaine

1 Large beet
1 Carrot
1/3 C pistachios
1 avocado
The juice from one lemon
sea salt to taste
Capers (for garnishing - don't put in the food processor!)
Romaine lettuce leaves.

Put the first 6 ingredients in the food processor and process until blended or finely chop all ingredients and mix.

Place about 1/3 cup of mixture on a lettuce leaf and garnish with capers.

Turkey Marinade

1 quart 7-up or gingerale
1 pint oil
1 pint soy sauce
1 Tbsp horseradish
1 tsp garlic powder


Marinate for 24 hours in a Ziploc. Grill to your liking. Also great with grilled pineapple.
